Need to talk to someone?
Clients come and see me when they need to talk through their feelings so they can find clarity and perspective. I am a person-centred and humanistic counsellor who works with individuals in a warm, empathic and non-judgmental way.
About Me
I am a qualified and registered BACP counsellor.
Located in London and Dorset, I currently offer counselling services online through telephone and Zoom sessions, catering to clients both in the UK and abroad.
As a person-centered counsellor, my primary focus is on you and your unique journey. I provide a safe, non-judgmental space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences at your own pace. My approach is rooted in empathy, unconditional positive regard, and genuineness, aiming to foster a therapeutic relationship built on trust and understanding. Whether you're struggling with relationships, navigating grief or loss, or simply seeking personal growth, I am here to support you every step of the way.
My Practice
My work has primarily focused on bereavement and loss and I have a wealth of experience in supporting individuals in this area. I have gained a deep understanding of the myriad challenges people face during the grieving process and my extensive background equips me with the insight and empathy necessary to provide meaningful support to those navigating the complexities of loss. I am dedicated to offering a compassionate space where individuals can explore their emotions, find solace, and ultimately embark on a journey towards healing.
In addition to my private practice, I also work as a counsellor with Professional Help Limited, an employee support organisation where I also contribute to GriefChat, an online bereavement platform. This role requires me to work with individuals on a diverse array of challenges including workplace stress, navigating personal and professional relationship difficulties, and managing complex life transitions and upheavals.
Previous Experience
Inspired by my four-year tenure as a helpline caller for Childline, I pursued formal training to become a counsellor. Prior to establishing my private practice, I undertook my placement at the Royal London Hospital followed by an additional two years volunteering at the esteemed St Joseph’s Hospice in Hackney. These formative experiences have deeply shaped my approach to counselling, instilling in me a profound commitment to supporting individuals through their most challenging times with empathy and understanding.
